Implied QC Values

On the Implied QC Values form (study > Volumetrics > Volumetric Study > Implied QC Values) you can QC the (implied) values of correlated, both fully and partial correlated, uncertainty parameters in your study. These values are determined using the CDF of the child along with the physical value of the parent uncertainty parameter. If a design only contains independent uncertainty parameters, the form is not populated for that design. If your study only contains independent uncertainty parameters, this step is skipped when going through the workflow.

The Implied QC Values form is populated if there is partial or full dependency between uncertainty parameters in one or more of the designs in your study. On the Implied QC Values form you can display the uncertainty parameters with their probability percentages or with their physical values.

The Realizations table

In the Designs list, select a design to populate the Realizations table. Once the table has been loaded for a design, the design is listed in italic. For each active correlated (child) uncertainty parameter in your study, a column is added in the Realizations table. When you hover over a column header, a tooltip shows the names of the child and parent uncertainty parameters. The table lists the calculated implied values of the child uncertainty parameters. You can use the table toolbar options to display the results as values or probabilities.

Table toolbar -

Displays the physical values which are sampled from the uncertainty parameter's probability density function.

Displays the cumulative probability of the sampled values (cumulative probability according to the exceedance principle, i.e. the probability that the value will be equaled or exceeded). This column stays empty when the uncertainty parameter is a seed.
